Rob Adds to Datcom's Commitment to Customers

After a long and demanding examination process, Robert Mclean is the latest engineer at Datcom to qualify with the Cisco CCNA certification.

Adding to its already impressive status as the only Cisco Premier Certified Company in Lincolnshire, Datcom has further underlined its commitment to customer confidence.

Having joined the company just over a year ago, network engineer Robert McLean recently completed the Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching certification. This qualification is proof of Datcom’s secure networks and ability to maintain a high level of standards, allowing customers to rest easy knowing their work is being handled by experts.

Robert said:

“I’ve spent the last few months studying for 16 to 18 hours a week for the exams. It’s been demanding and time-consuming but so worth it for the certification.

“The skills required of a core network engineer are evolving and are more vital than ever these days. This qualification is the first step towards being taken seriously in the networking world as it shows you have a certain skillset. Hopefully this is just the start of more opportunities to come.”

Managing Director at Datcom, Andrew Townsend, said:

“Attaining Cisco accreditation is vital to ensuring that we deliver the highest level of service to our clients. Having completed the Cisco certification myself, I know how many hours of revision and dedication go into the process. We’re all really proud of Rob for qualifying, it’s a great achievement!”
